FireWalk FAQ
Questions Answered!

Q: How do I buy Tickets?
A: Sorry this event is over. Join our mailing list for information on other FireWalking events.

Q: But I have _________ condition that will affect _________ activity.
A: Most of the time we can accomodate special needs and you can complete the activities with assistance. Please contact us with any concerns you may have. However, if you are for any reason unable to walk at a normal pace and/or unable to walk without limping we must respectfully
request that you not walk on the fire.

Q: Won't I get burned?
A: Probably not. We cannot gaurantee that there will be no burns since we will be walking on real fire. What we can tell you is that Brandi, Thalisha, and our assistants have walked on many, many fires.
We have also witnessed other people walking on these same fires, many of them for the first time, and we have not seen a serious burn.
One or two people out of the group may get a "kiss" (a small red mark, not a blister) that is usually gone by the next day. Even for those that get small blisters, the amazement and sense of achievement has towered over the burn and every person that we have talked to about it says that it was well worth the risk.
We take every possible precaution, from selecting the best wood to carefully preparing the fire for optimum walking. Our firetenders are also certified firewalking instructors with lots of experience.

Q: Why would bellydancers want to do this?
A: You want to do this because this you will become a more confident human being, able to smash through barriers of any kind, which translates into a more confident dancer/performer. What piddly performance snags can possibly trip you up if you can walk on fire? The next time the sound guy loses your music or your costume malfunctions onstage, you will remember your potential and you will handle these situations with ease. We believe that the soul of a dancer shines through onstage, and if you transform your soul you will transform your dance.

Q:Can non-bellydancers (ie spouses/significant others) participate in this event?
A:Yes! This is not exclusively for dancers!
We want anyone who is interested to come! Any family members, partners, or friends
who are interested are absolutely welcome. This is a very powerful experience to share
with a significant other.
A note about Children: Minors must be 15 or older and have either both
parents present or one parent and a signed note from the other parent.

Q: Will there be vending?
A: No.

Q: Will there be any bellydance performances?
A: Not this year. Due to the nature of these activities we feel it would be asking too much of everyone to perform that evening.
